FORT WAYNE, Ind. ——印第安纳州东北部地区发展局(RDA)提交了印第安纳州东北部地区发展计划(RDP)， 11个县通过印第安纳州区域经济加速和发展倡议(READI)计划争夺高达5000万美元的资金.  

The plan, titled “Growing with Vision,展示了印第安纳州东北部在过去十年中强劲的经济转型，这在一定程度上要归功于“区域城市倡议”等机遇. Citing regional focus groups, data and research, 该计划探讨了该地区未来的重大机遇, 如果该地区获得READI的资助，哪些将被催化和加速.   

东北印第安纳州RDA和地方经济发展组织(LEDOS), which serve as the READI steering committee, received over 130 applications. Across the region, the READI funding request totaled $439,513,646.88. 通过提案过程提交的大多数项目都包括在最终的RDP中.  

东北印第安纳州RDA董事会主席Gene Donaghy表示，RDP反映了该地区经济影响的三大重点领域:劳动力增长, downtown vibrancy, and entrepreneurship and innovation.

Next steps include:
